Job Title: Project and Safety Coordinator
Department: Operations
Report to: Chief Operating Officer
Job Summary:
The Project and Safety Coordinator are responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing company’s employee safety at work.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Directs onsite crew members of daily work plans, weekly look aheads, and jobsite safety protocol.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Facilitate compliance with occupational health and safety (OSH) guidelines.- Collaborates with project staff to create a strategic action plan and cost estimates of materials, time, labor, and other resources required to complete the project.
- Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
- Conduct risk assessment.
- Supervises progress of development project and prepares periodic progress and cost reports.
- Ensures compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.- Proficient in reviewing civil construction plans and elevations.
Education and Experience:
OSHA 30 Construction Certification, within past 24 months
CPR / First Aid Certified- Trenching & Excavation Certified
- Confined Space Certified
- Any other related certifications
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
