Starting Wage: $22.00 per hour increases depending on experience.

Position Installation Technician:

We are looking for an installation technician to install AV solutions for our customers. Your duties may include traveling to customers' place of business, installing AV solutions, troubleshooting problems with existing equipment, testing connections, providing user instructions to customers, and cleaning up after the job is complete.

The ideal Installation Technician will be detail focused with the ability to think creatively during installation and while troubleshooting systems. We are looking for someone eager to learn, diligent to exceed customer expectations, and be open to an evolving industry/company. Ultimately, a top-notch Installation Technician should be focused on safety, be able to adapt to AV installation best practices and be able to attend up to six weeks of training in Nashville prior to being on the job site.

Primary Essential Job Duties:

• Learn to Set-up, test, calibrate and commission complete A/V systems based on customer requirements to the M3 standards
• Basic installation tasks such as pulling cable, terminating connectors (copper and fiber), mounting/rigging objects and rack construction
• Read and follow basic base building and electrical blueprints
• Follow direction from Lead Technicians, Project Managers, and Supervisors
• Appropriately report any changes or concerns with projects
• Safety focused
• Regular and predictable attendance as scheduled
• Work cooperatively with others.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Basic Computer skills
• Basic installation tasks such as pulling cable, terminating connectors, mounting/rigging objects and rack construction
• Ability to work in a fast-paced culture
• Travel to various job sites as needed not expected to exceed 40% of time
• Preferred Experience using AV and Electronic hand-tools including but not limited to wire strippers, crimpers and soldering irons
• Preferred Experience using low voltage and basic construction hand-tools including but not limited to snips, punch tool, drills, hammers and screw drivers
• Ability to be attentive to direction and anticipate job needs
• Present in a professional manner

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years of installation experience a plus
• Previous experience in the construction industry a plus
• Valid drivers license with appropriate driving record

Training Provided (if applicable)

• AVIXA AVT training
• AVIXA CTS
• BICSI Certification

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to bend, squat and kneel
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to climb and work on ladders for extended periods
• Ability to pass drug screen and background check
