Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Help Desk Technician located in Fairfax, VA. The technician will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support, troubleshooting and resolving issues with desktop computers and peripherals. Daily responsibilities include managing help desk support requests, repairing hardware and software, and ensuring optimal workstation performance. The technician will also collaborate with team members and clients to address technical challenges effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in working with desktop computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
- Strong technical support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in help desk support and resolving client inquiries
- Skilled in computer repair and hardware/software issue resolution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Ability to manage tasks independently and effectively in an on-site environment
- Familiarity with networking and security services is a plus
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft, or equivalent are highly valued
