Position Summary
M3 Fabrication LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Control Coordinator to support our metal fabrication manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for creating material flow and inventory control plans for our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), finished goods, and consumables.
• Develop material flow plans and execute throughout facility.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, receiving, and shipping teams.
• Track and report inventory performance metrics.
• Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
• 2 years of inventory control in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing Principles and processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office products.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in metal fabrication or industrial manufacturing.
• Knowledge of cycle counting and material planning.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in office and manufacturing environments.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
