Position Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary
The CFO at M2W, Inc. plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations, leading the company’s financial strategy, and ensuring sound financial practices across all business functions. This individual will work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors, providing insights and strategic guidance to foster growth, operational excellence, and long-term financial stability.
The CFO will oversee the firm’s budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and risk management practices. They will also help drive EBITDA growth through effective financial management, strong partnership with operations, and optimization of resources. The position requires substantial experience in financial leadership, mergers and acquisitions, and strategies for scaling an IT services organization.
Essential Functions
Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Accounting
- Lead all financial operations, including preparation of accurate and timely statements and reports for management, the CEO, and the Board.
- Oversee monthly closings, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, ensuring compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, analyzing performance and project profitability to guide capital allocation and risk management.
AI & Automation Integration
- Lead the integration of AI and automation to enhance core finance processes, including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and financial close.
- Leverage advanced analytics to improve reporting accuracy, streamline compliance monitoring, and provide predictive insights for executive decision-making.
Leadership & Staff Management
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team, promoting professional growth and accountability.
- Act as a strategic thought partner to the CEO and Board, helping drive financial strategy and risk management.
Organizational Development & Continuous Improvement
- Drive the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and systems that enhance operational efficiency, financial performance, and internal controls.
- Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with operational priorities and growth initiatives.
Mergers, Acquisitions & Global Expansion
- Manage financial diligence, valuation, and integration for acquisitions.
- Lead financial modeling for global expansion strategies, ensuring long-term profitability and sustainability.
Position Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CMA or CPA preferred.
- Experience: 13 years in senior financial roles, ideally within an IT services firm, with experience in financial leadership, M&A, and growth strategies.
- Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (experience with Deltek VantagePoint a plus), and proficiency with financial reporting and analysis.
- Personal Attributes: Strategic, results-driven leader with exceptional communication skills, capable of working closely with executive leadership and the Board.
Travel / Relocation Requirements
- Up to 10% travel, potentially including visits to client sites, company offices, and industry events.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in accounting or finance.
- CMA or CPA required.
- 13 years of experience at the management accounting level within an IT or technology-driven company, with experience using ERP systems.
