What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse-Rehab Unit position at M2S Group?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report findings to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans.
- Document all care, observations, and resident interactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and resident rights policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care.
- Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in the delivery of daily care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote a positive and respectful care environment.
- Participate in shift reports, staff meetings, and ongoing education and training as required.
Qualifications:
- Current and active LPN license and RN License in good standing with the state board of nursing.
- Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric care preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate compassion and professionalism in all interactions.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions available
- All shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends)
