Essential Job Responsibilities
- Support and implement daily pricing requests.
- Advise sales on pricing policies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
- Collaborate with teams to recommend pricing for business growth.
- Analyze data using Excel and database tools.
- Increase profit through targeted pricing actions.
- Conduct detailed competitive analysis.
- Track category performance metrics (sales, margin, etc).
- Assess exception pricing requests for profitability.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Excel and SQL
- Knowledge of wholesale distribution pricing (preferred)
- Familiar with business intelligence reporting tools
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
- Business acumen: understands impact of decisions
- Fluent in English for compliance with standards and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Intermediate - Advanced Excel and SQL skills
- Experience in construction or related industry
