Travel No Job Summary: Vehicle Fleet Manager * Reports to the Logistics Branch Manager * Directs the complete lifecycle of contractor-owned and government furnished vehicles, manages scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements and manages the company's driver program requirements * Ensures compliance of all applicable regulations (Air Force Regulations, M1 Standard Operating Procedures, Performance Work Statement Requirements) Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: * Manage the acquisition, registration, and disposition of all required vehicles * Schedule regular and preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe operation and minimize downtime * Manage purchasing and expense reports for all maintenance activities * Administer the unit's Airfield Driving Program in accordance with DAFI 13-213, Airfield Driving * Conduct bi-monthly reviews of the Integrated Maintenance Data System to ensure all airfield drivers possess the three required course codes * Administer airfield driving tests as required * Ensure the fleet complies with all internal company policies, Air Force Instructions, and government safety regulations * Generate and distribute weekly reports and vehicle status slides to the management team * Manage vehicle fuel program and verify the monthly fuel bill for accuracy * Ensure vehicle QR codes are correct and properly assigned * Perform any other supportive duties as assigned Qualifications and Experience: * Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred in: Business, Logistics, Transportation Management, or Automotive Technology * High School diploma required * Minimum 3 years' experience in: Fleet/Transportation Management or Vehicle Maintenance Supervision * Must speak, read, write, and understand English with the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions in the same language * Strong communication and leadership skills are essential. Must deal with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner * Obtain/maintain security clearance * Must maintain a current U.S. driver's license * Must maintain a Certificate of Competency (Flight Line Driver's License) * Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Adobe Working Conditions: * Environmental ranges from office-like to hangar and flight line.
