We are looking for CNC Machinists who can set up and operate CNC mills, manual mills, lathes, saws, and magnetic drills to produce parts according to engineering specifications.
Job Description:
- Set up and operate CNC mills, manual mills, lathes, saws, and magnetic drills to produce parts according to engineering specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine proper machine setup requirements
- Conduct first-piece inspections and make adjustments to ensure optimal production outcomes
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to keep production running efficiently, and perform routine quality checks on finished parts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with established protocols
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints incorporating GD&T symbology, industry and military standards, and customer specifications
- Proficiency using precision measuring instruments in both imperial and metric units to verify dimensional accuracy
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively as part of a team with minimal supervision, following both written and verbal instructions
