Job Summary:

As M1 Global’s global footprint expands and geopolitical/physical threats become increasingly complex, we are seeing a significant rise in demand for specialized Security Operations Center (SOC) services. Our service model has evolved into a hybrid ecosystem, providing tiered support at client locations, virtual monitoring from M1 Global facilities, and fully virtual SOCs monitoring client activity and global threats.


To meet this growth, M1 Global requires a dedicated Director of Global Security Operations Strategy & Program Development. This individual will serve as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Program Owner, bridging the gap between client requirements and M1 Global's operational execution.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of progressive experience in security operations, SOC management, or enterprise security program design.
  • Proven experience designing and operating hybrid and/or virtual SOC environments for enterprise or mission-critical clients.
  • Strong command of physical security operations, incident management, crisis response, intelligence and escalation frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, client-specific technical requirements into scalable operational programs.
  • Experience supporting Tier-1, Fortune 500, or fast-paced technology-driven environments (e.g., data centers, global operations).
  • Strong fFamiliarity with security automation platformsPhysical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems, intelligence software platformsmonitoring tools, and integrated commandincident management systems, and other platforms..
  • Strong executive communication skills with experience partnering with sales, business development, and senior client stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, International Relations, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county, and municipal requirements.


Strategic Purpose of the Role:

  • Service Evolution: Lead the transition from staffing-based security to sophisticated, tiered SOC programs across on-site, hybrid, and virtual environments.
  • Program Architecture: Define and own global SOC standards, operating models, and capability frameworks.
  • Sales Enablement: Support Business Development as the technical and operational authority during pursuits, RFPs, and client presentations.
  • Technology Leadership: Architect the SOC technology stack, ensuring seamless integration with the Aurix™ platform and emerging monitoring tools.


Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Own the design, standardization, and scalability of M1 Global’s hybrid and virtual SOC programs across enterprise clients.
  • Serve as the global Program Owner and Subject Matter Expert for SOC operating models, staffing tiers, escalation frameworks, and performance standards.
  • Define and maintain SOC technology architecture, including monitoring tools and full integration with the Aurix™ platform.
  • Translate complex client requirements—particularly Tier-1, mission-critical environments—into executable operational standards.
  • Establish consistent SOC workflows across Dispatch, Incident Management, Crisis Response, and Intelligence functions.
  • Convert client-specific systems and processes into internal training programs, technical job descriptions, and readiness standards.
  • Validate technical capability and preparedness of SOC teams supporting high-risk and global contracts.
  • Act as the technical authority during sales pursuits, RFPs, and client presentations, ensuring solutions are operationally sound and scalable.
  • Partner with Business Development to support accurate staffing models, technology assumptions, and solution design.
  • Define KPIs, SLAs, and QA metrics while driving continuous improvement across SOC operations.
