YOUR NEW ROLE AS A PIPE LOADER - BACKFILL OPERATOR
This position follows a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM.
As a Pipe Loader - Backfill Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to dig and backfill trenches for pipe installation, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications. You will load materials and gravel into trenches, preparing the site for proper pipe placement. Your ability to read and interpret pipe project plans will be essential in executing tasks efficiently. Working as part of a team, you will contribute to maintaining project timelines, upholding safety standards, and ensuring the quality of each job.
REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 Years experience with Heavy Equipment (Loaders and Track Hoes)
- Must be able to read grades
- Understanding trenching and pipe installation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with Foremans and other member of the crew effectively to keep projects on track
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and any other drug tests required while employed at M&T
