THE TYPE OF CANDIDATE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 2-3 years experience with Heavy Equipment (Loaders and Track Hoes)
- Must be able to read grades
- Understanding trenching and pipe installation
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively to work with Foremans and other members of the crew effectively to keep projects on track
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and any other drug test required while employed at M&T
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY AS A PIPE CREW LOADER - BACKFILL OPERATOR
This is a full-time position with a typical schedule of 7 AM - 5 PM. You'll be working outdoors on various construction sites, ensuring that every project runs smoothly and efficiently.
As a Pipe Crew Loader - Backfill Operator, you will operate heavy equipment to dig and backfill trenches for pipe installation, ensuring the work meets project specifications. You will load materials and gravel into trenches, preparing the site for proper pipe placement. Using project plans as a guide, you will carefully execute tasks to ensure precision and efficiency in every job. Your expertise in track hoes and loaders will be essential as you navigate various terrains and job sites. You will be a key player in keeping projects on schedule, maintaining safety protocols, and working alongside a dedicated team that values hard work and attention to detail.
