WHAT YOU'LL DO AS OUR ENTRY-LEVEL GPS FIELD TECHNICIAN:
As our entry-level GPS Field Technician, you'll be at the heart of our construction operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly with precision. You'll get hands-on experience in GPS machine control technology and surveying while contributing to impactful projects.
This entry-level role will include:
- Ensuring quality control by recording the location of compaction tests for earthmoving operations
- Conducting as-built shots for installed utilities and structures
- Using GPS machine control technology to support field operations
- Assisting the Curb Operator to ensure the GPS curb machine is functioning flawlessly
- Diagnosing and calibrating machine control equipment on-site
- Traveling to various job sites throughout the day to monitor operations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic understanding of construction
- Ability to work outside and travel to job sites throughout the day
- Ability to follow directions
- Great communication skills
Being bilingual is preferred but not required.
THE SCHEDULE:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Flexibility and variety with travel to job sites
