Golden Barrel Products - Fondant Dept. Production Worker

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintains all related paperwork
• Fill 50lb cartons, pails or totes
• Stack 50lb cartons or pails on pallets
• Test and maintain correct product quality requirements and follow SOPs
• Cleans work area
• Any other duties as requested, directed or assigned by the manager/supervisor
• Safety training and certifications as required
• Designated Safety Sensitive Position

Job Requirements:
Education and Experience (Licenses and Certifications):

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in food processing environment helpful

Equipment to Be Used:

• All equipment for blending and producing fondant product as specified

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in food production
• Ability to perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• Ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines
• Ability to understand and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form as they pertain to production
• Basic reading, writing, mathematical abilities
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
• Ability to think logically in following procedures and instructions

Essential Physical Demands:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking, using tools and performing repetitive actions
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time
• Visual acuity to read instructions and operate machines
• A separate, complete document of physical demands is attached

Working Hours:

• Standard working hours for 2nd shift are: 3pm 11pm Monday through Friday and as necessary to complete the requirements of the position
• Overtime may be required, and hours are subject to change based on company needs
• Employees are required to clock in 10 minutes before the beginning of the shift

Offered compensation: $19/hr
