Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Utilize various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including Montessori techniques.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing to evaluate student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Provide individualized support to students, focusing on their academic and emotional needs.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and sharing best practices in childcare and education.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting respect and cooperation among students.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in an educational or daycare setting.
- Strong skills in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods is preferred.
- Proficiency in teaching subjects such as Math and other core areas is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- A degree in Education or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for all applicants; relevant experience will be considered.
