Who were looking for:

M&S Machining is seeking machinists who have experience programming CNC machining centers. A candidate will be expected to program and assist in the set-up of multiple new and different parts during a given week using strategic processes that incorporate a proper understanding of mathematics and engineering.

What you’ll be doing:

• CAM Programming multiple different geometrically complex parts at various machining centers.
• Analyzing engineering blueprints, solid models, and/or sketches to determine the type and sequence of machine operation.
• Working with junior machinists to set expectations and further develop their skills at a high level.
• Working closely with the CMM inspection lab; have an in-depth knowledge of metrology and GD&T.
• Measuring parts on and off a machining center to prevent quality issues and production delays.

Favorable if you have:

• Experience using SurfCAM, FeatureCAM, PowerMill, and/or Solidworks.
• Experience working in a low volume, high mix manufacturing facility.
• Experience in the defense and aerospace manufacturing industry.
