Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fence Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various aspects of construction, particularly in fence installation. This role involves working on construction sites, utilizing hand and power tools, and performing heavy lifting as needed. The Fence Installer will be responsible for ensuring that all installations meet quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install various types of fencing, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and ornamental fences.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble and secure fence components.
- Perform frame carpentry tasks as required for custom installations.
- Conduct landscape maintenance around installed fences to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
- Collaborate with team members on construction site to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with hardscape projects as needed, including the installation of gates and posts.
- Lift heavy materials and equipment as part of the installation process.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during installation and make necessary adjustments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fence installation or related construction fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with frame carpentry techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with hardscape installations is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
