Position Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for choosing and installing tools and holding fixtures to adjust program through first article approval. Use existing program for setting up and running several CNC mills for secondary operation machining of bolt blanks.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate’s essential functions will be to control and maintain inventories of cutting tools and fixtures, adjust speeds and feeds for optimum productivity and download, adjust and upload CNC programs, programming a plus.
Daily tasks: Inspect production, obtain the CNC program to run production, assemble tools and fixtures required to machine and inspect parts. The candidate will be required to set-up and start the machines thru first article and operate machine.
Reporting Relationships: Report to CNC dept supervisor
Working Conditions:
Standing and walking to monitor several machines. The candidate will provide instruction to helper
Success Factors:
High school diploma or equivalent with good understanding of math, computer literacy in Windows environment and Fanuc “G” codes.
Position type:
Requires full work time only. 8 hours a shift- Monday to Friday - overtime expected depending on production needs. Regular attendance is an essential job function.
