Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed :

• Supervise staff and oversee daily operations of the Security department during assigned shift
• Support and manage operational goals; monitor performance and profit objectives
• Coordinate scheduling and address staffing concerns to ensure guest satisfaction
• Assist in departmental budgeting by providing recommendations and reporting concerns
• Promote and uphold superior customer service standards; address service issues promptly
• Enforce internal control policies and procedures, including underage gambling and drinking laws
• Maintain safety and inspection reports for the property
• Conduct regular inspections of security posts
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate security logs
• Respond to guest and employee concerns with professionalism and compassion
• Ensure team members comply with uniform and grooming standards
• Collaborate with regulatory, fire/rescue, and law enforcement agencies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues to management
• Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters

Qualification Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in casino security, military, or law enforcement; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Possession of a valid CCW permit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to write clear and professional reports and business correspondence
• Capable of effectively presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
  
  

s Upervisory Responsibilities

• Oversee staff development initiatives and training programs to ensure team members are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for success
• Lead employee recognition efforts through rewards and engagement programs to foster a positive and motivated work environment
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members to support continuous improvement
• Make staffing recommendations, including participation in interviewing, hiring, and scheduling to meet operational needs
• Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery
• Provide guidance on employee performance matters, including coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed
  
  

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Must qualify for all licensing and permit requirements as mandated by federal, state, and local re g ulations
• Valid Alcohol Awareness Card required
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Certified in First Aid
• Valid Nevada Concealed Carry Firearm Permit (CCW)
• Valid Nevada Driver’s License required
• Current three-year driving record (Statement of Driving History) must be provided and maintained
