Sales is what will drive M&R Roofing and Construction to new heights. We are seeking a qualified sales manager who will use their commercial roofing knowledge and sales skills to expand our customer base. This individual will build and lead a new team of driven sales representatives. Our ideal sales manager has the highest level of integrity and extensive experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building and deal closing. This individual will have strong negotiating skills, a successful track record who can inspire the same performance in others. The role demands a leader who has a sharp mind and ability to coach, advise, motivate, and assume the sales representative role while building and maintaining a high-performance team.

IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE
- Setting targets, performance plans, and rigorous, objective standards for your sales team
- Plan and implement sales training and development programs
- Recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales reps
- Coaching sales reps to help them improve their sales performance
- Participating in spontaneous sales ride-a-longs and planned field days
- Counsel, support, discipline, and fire underperforming sales reps
- Managing sales reps adhere to the company sales process firmly
- Managing sales reps to use sales technologies correctly
- Holding team building events on-site or offsite
- Motivating and engaging your sales team with monetary and non-monetary (intrinsic) motivational tactics, such as sales contests, lucrative incentive packages, prizes, and public recognition
- Setting a good example for your team. Working according to company culture and values, prioritizing ruthlessly, using good communication, and delivering results effectively.
