What You Will Be Doing
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and deliver clear, effective solutions with detailed explanations of options and recommendations.
- Identify and resolve safety hazards and code violations, ensuring all work meets applicable NEC, Maryland, and local standards.
- Present flat-rate pricing options to customers in a clear, professional manner.
- Repair and install electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, panels, and equipment to ensure safety, full functionality, and code compliance.
- Measure, cut, and bend conduit for new and existing installations.
- Acquire all necessary materials to complete approved work efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project and upon completion.
- Complete all documentation accurately and promptly upon job completion or estimate requests.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professionalism, positive communication, and expert service.
- Identify and present additional service opportunities to support customer safety and satisfaction.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with the office, customers, and fellow team members.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols, including the safe operation of a company vehicle.
- Mentor and provide hands-on guidance to assigned apprentices.
- Valid Maryland State Journeyperson Electrician License (or a valid license from a state with Maryland reciprocity), with a minimum of 3 years of field experience. (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED. (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and residential codes applicable to Maryland and Montgomery County. (Required)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. (Required)
- Strong proficiency in English — both written and verbal — to ensure effective communication with customers, team members, and the office. (Required)
- Ability to work with hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, screwdrivers, testers) and safely operate power tools. (Required)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, squat, bend, and climb ladders as required by the job. (Required)
- Willingness to travel daily within the DMV service area. (Required)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
- CPR / First Aid certification.
- Experience with Service Fusion or similar field service management software.
- Commercial electrical service experience, or a willingness to learn and expand into commercial work alongside your residential responsibilities.

Compensation
- Wage Range: $28.00 – $48.00 per hour (minimum to maximum), based on skills and experience.
- Weekly pay.
- Weekly cell phone reimbursement.
