This is a full-time on-site role, located in Los Angeles, CA, for a Construction Bookkeeper / Budget Analyst. The individual in this position will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including maintaining financial statements, performing bookkeeping duties, utilizing accounting software, and handling journal entries and finance-related tasks.
Qualification
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience in construction (required)
- Strong knowledge of construction job costing, forecasting, and budget management
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data organization)
- Experience with budget tracking, takeoffs, and cost variance analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (preferred)
- CMA certification (preferred)
