Overview (YEAR ROUND LOADS TO UT/CO/ID/WY/TX/NM)
90% Drop and Hook. 10% live unload. NO LIVE LOADS!! All dry van. We are seeking experienced Owner Operator CDL A Independent Contractors to join our transportation team. This role offers the opportunity to operate your own tractor-trailer and manage your routes independently, providing flexible scheduling. Candidates must possess a valid CDL A license and have a strong background in commercial driving, with experience in freight handling. The ideal applicant is self-motivated, reliable, and committed to safety and efficiency on the road.
Duties
- Operate 75ft. tractor-trailers
- Unload freight safely and efficiently at designated locations (Optional)
- Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries across assigned territories
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations regarding commercial driving and transportation
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all phases of operation
Experience
- Valid CDL A license with an acceptable driving record
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery route management and freight
- Prior work with freight logistics, load & unload operations, and route driving is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while maintaining safety standards on the road
