Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair. We are looking for someone with commerical experience not residential.
We are also seeking a part time or full time shop guy - to help organize the shop and to run material to job sites. Must have a valid drivers license and be knowledgeable in different tools and plumbing materials.
Duties
- Assemble and install plumbing systems according to specifications and codes.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing plumbing systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Conduct pipe threading and welding as needed for installations or repairs.
- Read blueprints to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople on remodeling projects to ensure seamless integration of plumbing with other systems.
- Troubleshoot issues with plumbing systems and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar maintenance person role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of pipe threading techniques and plumbing system design.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred for commercial driving tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Certification or licensure as required by local regulations is a plus.
