Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role located in Lafayette, IN. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring safety compliance, and troubleshooting any electrical issues to ensure efficient operation. Duties may include inspection and repair of wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings, as well as assisting with projects involving low voltage systems, automation, and control systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Work
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting electrical systems
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and ability to apply them in a practical setting
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in industrial control and low voltage systems is preferred
