Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met or exceeded
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents to clean surfaces, floors, carpets, and upholstery effectively
- Conduct laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing
- Dust furniture, fixtures, vents, and other surfaces to maintain a dust-free environment
- Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or appliances safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial work is preferred; janitorial or housekeeping management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards
- Ability to perform outdoor work when necessary for yard or exterior cleaning tasks
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their expectations
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, equipment operation, dusting techniques, and sanitation procedures
- Valid experience in residential housekeeping or related fields is advantageous
