Professional Driver Manager Truck Dispatcher

We are seeking a dependable , professional team player with great interpersonal skills for a unique opportunity in North Smithfield Rhode Island.

Ideal applicants should be able to perform in a fast paced environment.

This is a Full Time hourly based position Monday through Friday 2:30pm to 11:30pm with some Saturdays required during our busy season.

Our dispatchers assist with day to day operations, work with operations managers , have direct customer service responsibilities, complete payroll data entry, invoicing as well as managing a pool of Class A drivers to cover daily loads.
Ideal candidates should possess at least 2-3 years dispatch experience with a dedicated trucking carrier, be open to training, have excellent planning and communications skills.

Must possess experience and expert knowledge of DOT Rules and regulations pertaining to Class A Truck Driver hours of service, as well as experience using TMW Dispatch software and the ability to quickly learn software that will include:

 TMW

 Excel

 Peoplenet

 Skybitz

 Any previous or equivalent experience is preferred.

Other duties will include assisting the safety department with driver coaching on drive cam and speed gauge events .The flexibility to cover different hours when needed to fill in for office personnel when on sick or vacation time and generally being an all around good team player who can add additional depth and expertise to an already fantastic team here in North Smithfield.
