Key Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Work closely with service writers and inspectors to communicate vehicle issues, repair timelines, and parts required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment and adhere to all shop safety standards.
- Test drive vehicles to verify problems and ensure repairs are successfully completed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive mechanic or technician.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive systems (engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, HVAC, and brakes).
- Certifications: ASE Certifications are highly preferred, but proven, hands-on experience is strongly valued.
- Tools: Must possess your own set of standard automotive tools.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a team-player attitude.
