Forklift Operator - Scrap Metal Recycling Yard (Full-Time)
Location: 245 Walker Crossing, Locust Grove, Ga 30248
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5:00 PM | Saturday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our team. This person will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, load, and organize metal materials throughout the yard, while assisting with truck loading/unloading, general labor and warehouse tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other equipment to load and unload materials
- Organize, stack, and transport ferrous and non-ferrous metals within the yard
- Assist with sorting, processing, and general labor tasks as needed
- Work efficiently and safely in outdoor yard conditions (all weather)
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support overall yard operations, teamwork, and cleanliness
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of forklift operating experience (certification preferred)
- Experience working in a scrap yard, warehouse, or industrial environment is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors year-round
- Strong attention to safety, communication, and teamwork
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work hard in a fast-paced environment
