Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Railroad Labor Workers. This role involves physically demanding outdoor work focused on supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of railroad infrastructure. Candidates will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of rail operations through hands-on labor and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Assist with the assembly and disassembly of track components, including ties, rails, and ballast.
- Support team members in operational activities such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
- Follow established safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of coworkers during all job functions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site.
- Operate basic tools and equipment as required for various labor tasks under supervision.
- Participate in safety training sessions and adhere strictly to safety guidelines throughout all activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Sandblasting, using paint and primer, or work labor prep work.
- All work is to be completed on Locomotive rail cars located in Evansville.
- Strong commitment to following safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Good teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
