Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites and commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise plumbing layouts
- Operate hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and welding equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
- Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC specialists, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning in accordance with project specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber with extensive construction site experience
- Valid journeyman plumbing license or ability to obtain if individual is a training apprentice or certification as required by local regulations
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques, schematics, and mechanical systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, welding tools, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout tasks
- Familiarity with remodeling projects, maintenance work, and handyman tasks is a plus
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is desirable for site access or material transport purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality assurance
