Are you good with tools, fixing things?
Our Indianapolis plant is looking to strengthen our motivated Bindery Team at our plant in Indianapolis, IN. We are looking for a highly competent Bindery Set-Up Technician.
Duties
- You will perform maintenance and troubleshoot multiple pieces of equipment.
- You will use your mechanical aptitude to set up of folding equipment (Vijuk, Stahl, Pratham, Mueller, MBO etc..) per client/job order specifications.
- You will perform beginning and ending line clearances.
- You will demonstrate acceptable attendance and good mechanical aptitude.
- You will utilize good time management skills and be flexible to move from task to task.
Qualifications
- You have obtained a high school diploma in a vocational and/or work-study program.
- You can lift up to 35 pounds, loads heavier than 35 pounds will be lifted with mechanical device or 2-person lift.
- You will use problem-solving as a routine element of the job.
- You will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) includes safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection all of which will be provided.
