- Looking to hire Experienced Gas Service Technician
As a Propane Service Technician, you will combine technical expertise with a personable, approachable, and helpful personality. Applicants must have experience in plumbing and/or HVAC, pipe fitting, etc. Applicant must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as a commitment to providing the best and most responsive customer service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Make service calls to customers and provide them with expert installation and repair service to a variety of propane equipment
- Be the main point of contact between the company and our customers
- Maintain a professional and friendly image and serve as an advocate for the company and our brand.
Your specific duties in this role will include:
- Assessing customers’ equipment and service needs
- Installing and repairing propane equipment; this includes but is not limited to tank installations, leak tests, gas checks, tubing and pipe installations, gas appliance installations, tank maintenance and service
- Preparing accurate daily paperwork
- Effectively communicating with Dispatcher and other departments
Specific qualifications for the role include:
- Previous preferred experience as a propane/natural gas service technician, plumbing experience and/or HVAC technician in installing and servicing Propane/Natural Gas equipment is preferred, but will consider training a qualified applicant with plumbing/HVAC or other related training or experience.
- CDL Class B driver’s license with HAZMAT endorsement is highly preferred, but not mandatory. Will consider all qualified candidates regardless of vehicle license type.
- Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Ability to navigate tight crawl spaces under houses and in attics as required to perform certain gas piping installations; also must be able to lift 100 pounds and able to work in adverse weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (a printed copy of your 10-year driver's record required) is mandatory for consideration for the position.

Pay: $32.00 - $39.00 per hour
