Massage Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, to provide exceptional patient care. This role requires a commitment to patient service, assessment, and pain management, ensuring that each client receives personalized treatment tailored to their needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment plans.
• Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific pain management issues effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress for each client.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients.
• Uphold professional standards in customer service and patient interaction.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to support occupational health initiatives.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with a strong focus on patient service and assessment skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and an understanding of anatomy is essential.
• Experience in pain management techniques is highly desirable.
• Previous work in a med spa environment is a plus but not mandatory.
