Position Summary
The individual will be responsible for the safe handling of small to large components and materials (sheet metal, structure) using a forklift. They will also load, unload, transport and store the goods using a forklift, overhead crane, pallet truck or hand truck.
Roles And Responsibilities
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience
Computer Skills: ERP system and Microsoft office experience (an asset)
Certificates & Licenses: Forklift license required and overhead crane license (an asset)

Position Summary

Roles And Responsibilities
- Safely carry out and transport components and materials to the various required departments using a forklift (6,500 lb propane), an overhead crane, a pallet jack, or a hand truck.
- Inspect the components & materials received using the plans, BOM, MOC, receipt slip and other relevant documents
- Identify the components & materials received
- Keep the Reception area safe and clean (cutting and dismantling wooden pallets, preparation for recycling, etc.)
- Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift and handle equipment and materials
- Bundle, wrap or band material for shipment
- Communicate with supply and quality any non-compliant delivery and participate in the development of the non-compliance report (quarantine area)
- Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure accurate inventory
- Participate to inventory/material counts
- Participate when required in the loading of units
- Other responsibilities as assigned
