What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Mill Operator position at M&M Machine?
Job Purpose: Produce machined parts by programing, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintain quality and safety standards; keep records; maintain equipment and supplies
Duties:
*Learn to set up and run programs on MAZAK mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers; offsets, compensation, and conditional switches, calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
*Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
*Document actions by completing production and quality logs
Skills/Qualifications:
Verbal communication in English, Functional and Technical Skills, Controls and Instrumentation, Tooling, Coordination, Attention to detail, Judgment, Must be willing to learn and apply CNC techniques. Prefer MAZAK experience.
