The Yard Associate Position
The Yard Associate will communicate and coordinate with the Trucking, Equipment, Shop, and Project Management to ensure projects have all the small equipment and materials that are required. Responsible for keeping the equipment yard safe, coordinating, tracking, inventorying and overseeing all small equipment and material deliveries.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to: tracking of all small equipment in the yard, requesting repair work orders, coordinating of deliveries, ensuring all loads of materials and small equipment are securely tied down. Washing, detailing and basic maintenance of all equipment. Load and manage job trailers with project supervisors, while managing the trailer inventory program. Work with equipment manager on purchases of small equipment.

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Yard Associate Position
- High school diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Experience and Certification with Forklift and Telehandler is preferred, but is not required
- Familiarity with construction is preferred, but is not required
- Basic Computer, Inventory, Communication & Organizational Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction administration and a willingness to learn
- Work ethic focused on loyalty, quality, pride, & integrity
