Job Summary
ML Strasia & Sons Construction is seeking a motivated and dependable General Laborer to join the team. This role involves supporting daily operations within a fast-paced construction environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in construction, and a strong work ethic.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the jobsite to promote safety and efficiency
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment, reporting any issues promptly
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Pipe Laying
- Assisting with demolition and dismantling
- Shoveling
- Weather protection and clean-up
- Directing traffic
Experience and Abilities
- Prior construction, utility, or excavation experience preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided
- Experience involving heavy equipment operation is a plus
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction tasks is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
- Can complete assigned tasks
- Asks questions when needed
- Needs minimal supervision

Work Environment and requirements
This is a construction environment that requires employees to work outside in all weather conditions
This is a full time position at 40 hours a week. Over time eligible when project necessitates
Typical work schedule is 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday - Friday
Reliable transportation to travel to jobsites where business is conducted
