Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicles.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and team members using effective communication skills to coordinate routes and address any issues promptly.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure a safe environment for everyone on board.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Skills
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating various types of commercial vehicles and equipment including skid loaders, front loaders, dozers and excavators.
- Excellent driving skills with a proven track record in commercial driving.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with clear communication abilities in English.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining safety standards at all times.
