M&J Engineering is seeking experienced personnel for Resident Engineers for current projects in NYC.

Responsibilities
This position is a field-related position with respect to construction projects. The Resident Engineer will inspect various aspects of construction activities and performance to ensure compliance with the contract provisions. Responsibilities include inspection of daily construction work to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications, minimum testing of materials, review of contractor submittals, requests for information and coordination with the contractor, monitoring maintenance and Protection of Traffic (MPT), preparing daily inspection reports, perform field measurements of pay items, provide computations for pay items, participate in meetings, preparing meeting minutes and follow up action items. And other responsibilities as warranted.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture or Landscape Architecture
- At least 5 years of experience as a Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer
