What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Manager Road and Bridge position at M&J CONSTRUCTION COMPANY OF PINELLAS COUNTY, INC.?
The Construction Project Manager is responsible to manage the overall schedule, submitals, procurement, and coordiation of construction projects. Someone with a good background of concrete repairs, and general construction is required. Knowledge of working with government entities, strongly desired, but not required.
Qualifications:
- Be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, and have advanced Excel skills and PDF skills.
- Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Knowledge about bridge repairs is highly desired, but not required.
- Experience working with government specifications for public work projects highly desired, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Review blue prints and government specifications.
- Send proper plans and details to subcontracts and vendors.
- Build submitals of material specifications and other documentation.
- Build material Take-Offs and maintain bill of materials per project.
- Work closely with project superintendents for field coordination.
- Collect Daily field reports, and build look ahead schedules.
- Assist with subcontractor and material scheduling as well as employee job task scheduling and ordering or assisting with ordering all material to complete the project.
- Support team to complete all aspects of the project as needed.
