What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver position at M&J Bus Inc.?
We are looking for fully licensed van and school bus drivers and individuals seeking to become licensed van and school bus drivers at our East Hampton (Immediate openings) & East Haddam (2026-2027 school year) CT bus terminals. Great job for retirees, as well as stay-at-home parents - bring your kids with you and save on daycare costs!
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from designated locations
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized bus interior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers during transit
- Requirements:
- For Van - Clean & Valid license with a V endorsement. For School Bus - CDL Class B License with P&S endorsements (Free training to obtain license)- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not necessary- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Must work well with children and others- Drug Free (pre-employment drug test required)- Complete satisfactory pre-employment background check- Must be punctual and reliable and have reliable transportation to & from job site - Driving rates and pay determined by experience.
