M&J Auto Sales and Service is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a strong passion for automotive repair and maintenance, and brings a sharp attention to detail to everything they do.
As an Automotive Technician at M&J Auto, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a wide range of vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and ready for the road. Your day-to-day work will include performing routine maintenance, completing thorough vehicle inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out repairs efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid flushes.
- Complete complex repairs on engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, and other vehicle components.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain findings, repair recommendations, and timelines while delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Stay current with industry trends, tools, and advancements in automotive technology.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent hands-on work experience
- ASE certification preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with advanced troubleshooting skills
- Proficient in the use of diagnostic tools and automotive repair equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
