Shipping and Warehouse Coordinator

Duties to include:

• Shipping Goods- Coordinating pickups and deliveries from M.I.S. of America warehouse via LTL carriers as well as on our company trucks. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to hand deliver locally as needed (1-2 days per week). Packing up parts and equipment, preparation of treatment products including palletizing, processing of bills lading demonstrating compliance with the law. Scheduling pick-ups with freight companies, etc. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

• Receiving Goods - Unloading merchandise, verify that goods are intact before accepting deliveries, reviewing delivery documents, unload and organize inventory. Includes verifying biocide registration numbers with products.

• Keeping MIS compliant with NYS DOT rules and regulations, including being certified to ship hazardous materials.

• Monitor and Update product SDS sheets as required by manufacturer.

• Operate Warehouse Equipment such as forklift, tractor, etc.  

• Weekly inventory and year-end inventory of stock items. Includes coordinating with purchasing for weekly inventory orders and restock.

• Organize and upkeep warehouse and property-- including sweeping and mopping of warehouse, painting, garbage removal, small repairs, picking up outside litter, etc. Warehouse coordinator is responsible for cleanliness and organization of product in the warehouse. 

• Maintenance of used and reconditioned pumps, controllers and testing equipment.

• Snow Removal/Salting Parking Lot

• Stay current with NYS Inspections for MIS Van, Truck and Trailers as well as Oil changes and other preventative maintenance on vehicles or trailers. 

• Daily safety check on forklift

• Weekly Safety Check on MIS Van

• Monthly safety checks on fire extinguisher, shower, first aid kids, and eye wash station

• Assist Managers with special projects as needed, including disinfections, and water sampling.

• Monthly safety walkthroughs.
