Job Summary
Responsible for analyzing budget costs and issuing purchase orders for homebuilding vendors for the Division. Will have direct interaction with subcontractors and other non-office personnel.
This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay for all hours worked in a workweek over forty.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Create subcontractor purchase orders and lot budgets in the JDE system.
- Collect and process buyer sales and change order paperwork for distribution to subcontractors.
- Compile, verify, and provide updated costing information for data entry into the JDE system.
- Participate in backlog and inventory home scheduling meetings.
- Analyze budget reports and provide feedback and solutions on issues.
- Assist homebuilding vendors with purchase order questions and changes.
- Update miscellaneous construction reports.
- Perform additional assignments as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum Education Experience:
High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, or Business Administration preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint) required.
- Experience in residential homebuilding or construction preferred.
- Experience with JD Edwards Oracle, and BuildPro/SupplyPro software preferred.
