M&H Equipment Service, LLC is a family-owned and operated business that specializes in selling, servicing, and supporting outdoor power equipment. We take pride in providing honest and reliable service, while building long-term relationships with our customers. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a motivated Parts & Service Manager to lead our service department and parts operations with professionalism and efficiency.
Position Summary:
The Parts & Service Manager supervises all aspects of the company’s service operations and parts inventory. This person will oversee customer service interactions, plan and coordinate shop workflow, manage parts ordering and inventory, and assist technicians to ensure timely and high-quality repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Service Department Management:
- Oversee daily shop operations, including scheduling, work orders, and technician assignments
- Ensure service jobs are completed on time, on budget, and to manufacturer quality standards
- Communicate with customers to provide estimates, updates, and post-service follow-up
- Maintain detailed records of serial numbers and parts used
- Forward warranty pictures and information to our office staff
Parts Department Management:
- Manage all parts ordering, receiving, and inventory control
- Support technicians and customers with accurate parts identification and availability
- Maintain an organized parts department and track turnover and stock levels
- Create purchase orders and reconcile invoices accurately
Leadership & Communication:
- Supervise and support technicians and service staff
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and safety within the shop
- Work closely with sales to coordinate new equipment setup (PDI) and deliveries
Requirements:
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) - required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in parts, service, or shop management
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Proficient with computers and Dealer Management Software
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Inventory management or logistics background
