The purpose of this position is to participate in the fabrication of electrical and instrumentation control panels. This includes installation and working on PLC’s, HMI’s, VFD, Instrument panels and electromechanical devices. New and used panels.

Job Duties
- Build / wire industrial control panels. Mount items in panels, run wiring, modify panel structures. Wire automated equipment as necessary. Install panels and instruments on skids. Run conduit and wiring to panels, instruments and motors. Make terminations.
- Read electrical wiring and layout prints. Markup prints to account for any changes for as-built drawing updates.
- Work at a pace to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and make recommendations for solutions. Provide general technical support.
- During the fabrication process keep in contact with the shop supervisor and project engineer to solve any questions or issues that may arise.
- Be available for new process start up and checkout as needed.
- Apply basic knowledge of instrumentation, PLCs, Drives, Sensors and other control equipment in accomplishing the above duties.
- Drive company or personal vehicles as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Experience in panel building preferred, or education in a program of study in Electrical Systems, Mechatronics, or the equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and pass drivers health screening.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and organizations skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; (must be intermediate or higher in Excel skills) and have other basic Computer skills.
- Mechanical aptitude to be able to assemble and modify electrical panels and skids.
- Proficient in hand tools to be able to perform duties.
- Ability to drive a forklift.
- Basic Knowledge of Electrical Controls Systems.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50-lbs.
