New Restaurant. Benjamin's Brewer 46 Acme Road Brewer. Come join us for our launch. Full staff needed lunch and Dinner. Must be 16 or older. Pay based on experience
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Assist with menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing meal options for diverse needs
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food service areas
- Serve meals to residents or customers with professionalism and friendly service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of quality food products
Skills
- Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Proven ability to plan menus that meet nutritional requirements and customer preferences
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with catering, serving, and food industry best practices
