Role Overview
M E I Corporation is a Hawaiʻi-based general contractor specializing in commercial and public works construction projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Project Coordinator to join our team full-time. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organize, and review project submittals
- Complete and submit project bid documents
- Review project plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Coordinate with subcontractors and execute subcontract agreements
- Generate and process purchase orders
- Coordinate documentation and support project management workflows
- Assist with administrative and project coordination tasks as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields may include business, construction management, engineering, or related disciplines)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong willingness to learn
- Adaptable, dependable, and team-oriented
Preferred:
- Experience in the construction industry
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, bid documents, or project coordination
