Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Office Front Desk professional to join our vibrant dental practice. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure smooth daily operations, from appointment scheduling to insurance verification. Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors
  • Manage multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, scheduling appointments and answering inquiries promptly
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits using systems such as Dentrix
  • Collect payments and perform medical billing and coding
  • Maintain and update patient records in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical records management software
  • Coordinate patient intake processes, including medical history updates and documentation review
  • Handle office administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing medical office documentation
  • Assist with insurance verification processes, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper documentation of care plans

Experience

  • Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred, with a strong background in medical administrative support and front desk responsibilities
  • Experience working with health information management systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix is advantageous
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with multi-line phone systems and office management software
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle high-volume patient interactions confidently
